What made you want to become a Physician?
I always knew I wanted to be in healthcare from an early age. I grew up in a small community in Kenya where access to health care was scarce. People only went to hospitals or clinics when there was something seriously wrong. Growing up in this environment motivated me to advocate for preventative medicine and be at the frontlines of preventative care.
What do you wish you could tell every patient about their health and why?
Health is every person’s responsibility; everyone has to be willing to exercise diligence in promoting their health through proper lifestyles. Preventative health is fundamental in managing and preventing sickness or disease.
What do you like most about working at GVHC?
The teamwork and support from various departments is most important. Also the willingness of making proper changes to help promote the health of our patients.
