Golden Valley Health Centers Opens New Northview Health Center in Merced
Merced, CA – Golden Valley Health Centers (GVHC) is proud to announce the opening of their Northview Health Clinic in Merced. This state-of-the-art facility opened its doors on November 4, 2019. Located right across from Mercy Medical Center, the new, two-story, 26,000 sq.ft. health center has 37 exam rooms and offers a variety of healthcare services.
Services offered at Northview include: Women’s Health, Walk-in Urgent Care Clinic, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Behavioral Health, Health Education, Laboratory, Chiropractic Services and Pharmacy Services.
“We are excited to provide faster, more convenient access to our patients by centralizing care under one roof. Northview will serve patients of all ages, in a beautiful new building that is well-deserved by our patients and community,” said GVHC’s Chief Executive Officer, Tony Weber.
Access to quality healthcare in Merced County has been an ongoing issue. GVHC plans to help the Merced community with the addition of this large-scale facility. Northview is expected to relieve pressure on the Mercy Medical Center emergency room and provide follow-up care for patients who may be reluctant to visit ERs or other regular hospitals.
Women’s Health is a large focus for GVHC. GVHC understands that being a healthy woman is a lifelong process. They will offer a large range of services at Northview that will meet the needs of women at every stage of life.
Golden Valley Health Centers is committed to expanding access to quality healthcare for all. The new health center will have ample room, with a large area designated to accommodate patients and their families. A grand opening event will be held in January after the holiday season to celebrate with the community.
GVHC’s services are available to everyone. They accept Medi-Cal, Medicare, Covered California, and most private insurance plans. If you don’t have insurance they also offer a sliding fee scale program to those who qualify.
