It’s Medi-Cal Renewal Time

ALL MEDI-CAL PATIENTS WILL NEED TO REQUALIFY FOR BENEFITS!

PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY HAS ENDED

Governor Gavin Newsom on February 28th, 2023 issued a proclamation terminating the state’s COVID-19 State of Emergency, as previously announced in October. The next phase of the COVID-19 pandemic and will continue to guide the state’s work to support communities across the state.

During the COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE), you have been able to keep your Medi-Cal coverage regardless of any changes in your circumstances. However, now that the COVID-19 PHE has ended, you must check to see if you still qualify for free or low-cost Medi-Cal. If you or someone in your household receives a letter from the county asking for information about your Medi-Cal coverage, please provide the requested information.
